Vidgrafix Privacy Policy

Vidgrafix is an iPhone and iPad video-editing app by Jiri Chomat. It is designed to turn videos and data into animated visual stories.

Media and editing

Imported videos, photos, camera recordings, microphone audio, captions, timeline edits, charts, and exported projects are processed on your device unless you choose to share or export them. Vidgrafix does not upload your video frames, audio, imported media, or exported videos to our server.

Speech Recognition is used only when you request automatic captions. Website-reaction tools load pages you choose in an in-app web view; those pages are subject to the selected websites' own privacy practices.

Optional online features

Some optional AI-assisted text, transcript, parsing, or effect features may send the text you submit, your locale, and an app-install identifier to carspecslab.com to return the requested result and enforce service limits. These features do not upload your source video or audio unless the feature clearly asks you to provide that content.

Diagnostics and feedback

Vidgrafix can send diagnostic reports to help fix crashes, preview, import, and export failures, and user-submitted feedback. Diagnostics can be disabled in the app settings.

Reports may include app version and build, device model, operating-system version, locale, an app-install identifier, an action log, timeline summaries such as clip dimensions and durations, error details, and feedback text you explicitly submit. Logs can contain filenames or text visible in the affected project. Reports do not include video frames or audio content.

Tracking and advertising

Vidgrafix does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use collected data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
