Comparison: Boot space Aston Martin DBX vs. competitors 2025

The DBX is the first SUV from Aston Martin, which means that we don't have different generations for comparison. However, this current generation is packed with a lot to impress. A 490-litre trunk size and a sizable 1530 litres when the rear seats are folded down, say goodbye to luggage woes and hello to classy road trips.

Now, in the Aston Martin lineup, the DBX outshines its sibling models by quite a margin when it comes to boot space. For instance, the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster can only manage 200 litres; the Vantage Coupé offers 235 litres; the DBS Superleggera Volante presents a mildly better 260 litres, while the DB11 Coupé and DB11 Volante both have 280 litres. If trunk capacity is a priority, the DBX is the clear choice among other Aston Martins.

Compared to its nearest competitors, however, the DBX falls behind. The Audi Q7 flaunts an enormous 803-litre boot, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee boasts 800 litres. Even the Porsche Cayenne offers a more generous 648 litres. It's not all bad news though, as the DBX does have more trunk space than the Maserati Levante (580 litres) and the Land Rover Range Rover Velar (552 litres). Overall, Aston Martin certainly stepped up their game with the DBX's trunk space, but some competitors continue to offer more options for drivers who require even more cargo capacity.
